#1 L.A Noire
L.A Noire is a bit of a legend. Initially announced in 2004 as an exclusive for the next generation PlayStation machine developed by Team Bondi, the game promised a gritty open-world set in Los Angeles. As the PlayStation 3’s release came and went, the game silently disappeared until 2007, when Take 2 announced they’d be publishing the game for a 2008 release. Three more years passed, and the game is finally set for a multi-platform May 2011 release under the Rockstar label. That should be a sign of confidence right here – Rockstar hasn’t published an original game by a third party developer under their brand this generation.

#3 Call of Duty : Black Ops - Escalation
The Escalation map pack is a map pack containing five different maps designed for multiplayer. Zoo, Hotel, Convoy and Stockpile are your standard multiplayer maps, but the final one which is Call of the Dead, does something different. Designed as a map for the Zombies mode, players become either Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund or Michael Rooker as they fight through a George Romero inspired level filled with Nazi zombies.
