Mega Man X

"X" was an all-new Mega Man character. The game has been upgraded, X has become sleeker, faster and edgier than the original blue bot, he has introduced long-time Mega Man fans to a grittier, more futuristic version of the cartoony world they'd come to know on the NES. And the gameplay haas got some significant changes too. The core of the design is still focused on running, jumping and blasting enemies through a set of eight stages you can play through in any order you wish, but X has also introduced more advanced maneuvers like dashing, wall-jumping and on-the-fly weapon-swapping.

The whole experience has been all wrapped up in a package that includes slick visuals, beautifully tight controls and a killer new soundtrack. Capcom made Mega Man fans wait a long time for the arrival of X. But when it arrived, its excellence made everyone forget about the long wait.
